DESCRIPTION:Pabineau First Nation is hosting an Interactive Experience with Indigenous Peoples – Atlas of Canada. Sunday\, May 25\, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Bathurst Education Center 155 Munro Street. \nJoin us for a hands on\, family friendly event centered around the Canadian Geographic Indigenous Peoples of Canada giant floor map! This unique opportunity invites community members of all ages to walk across a massive (36×26 feet) floor map that details traditional territories\, treaties\, indigenous languages\, and more. We invite you to explore the deep connections between land\, language\, treaties and indigenous well being. Through self guided activities\, story sharing\, and interactive stations\, participants will discover how indigenous communities are shaped by and shape the land we share. Whether you’re a teacher\, student\, community leader\, or lifelong learner\, this experience offers an opportunity to learn from and with community. Come learn\, move and connect! \n
